In my travels around the state of Arkansas, I tend to be drawn to houses of worship. There is an amazing diversity of architectural styles when it comes to churches, and I try to record that diversity here. Please excuse my amateur bumbling with a camera; I'm learning as I go along.

Your photos are just great, Jay. You've certainly got an eye for architecture. Many thanks for plugging the Encyclopedia of Arkansas. I have recently added a number of your photos to illustrate a variety of Encyclopedia entries. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, Michael. I'm always amazed at how much useful information is packed into the Encyclopedia of Arkansas. It's a precious resource.
I just wanted to share that this is Williams Temple Church of God in Christ, one of Searcy's great historical African-American churches.
I greatly appreciate the correction.
