I didn't fool you, did I? No, it's not a church; it's a picnic pavilion outside of Carver Magnet Elementary in east Little Rock.Maybe it's supposed to look like a schoolhouse, but it looks like a church to me.

I own a stained glass studio called Arkansas Glassworks, so my interest in the state's churches springs from my work. In my meetings with the folks who attend and care for these buildings, I always come away with a feeling that a church is more than it appears. A church is a shell whose spirit resides within.
